Providing educational and experiential programs that promote preservation and stewardship of the environment.

We aim to support low-income, and disadvantaged members of local communities through sustainable agriculture and environmentally friendly building practices.

Unbridled urbanization, consumerism, monetary policy and globalization, have all contributed to climate change and humanity’s loss of connection with mother earth. Humanity has forgotten how-to-live in harmony with and how to preserve her finite resources.

Vision:

Sequoia Dharma aims to provide access to rural land and the produce from rural farms to those who may not normally have the opportunity to engage directly. We aim to help humanity and the general public develop a deeper knowledge and connection to mother earth through our practices and programs.

Location.

Sequoia Dharma has initially identified an ideal site to be used as a base for experiential, educational workshops and retreats

Located in the foothills of the Sierra mountains, nestled between Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, with close access to key focus groups in the challenged socio economic areas of Madera, Fresno and Tulare.

The land has been cultivated over the past 20 years into a self-sustainable, bio diverse working farm-ranch.

PHASE I - Hands-on working educational and artistic projects will be developed as part of the curriculum on multiple sites throughout the existing property including:

  • Sustainable and creative building of temporary structures

  • Farming of lavender fruits, vegetables, walnuts and wildflowers native to the land

  • Forming of Nature trails and camping sites

  • Art barn for pottery and painting

  • Solar electricity projects

  • Wildlife management and conservation

  • Wild-fire management and response

PHASE II - Basic infrastructure and curriculum will be created to accommodate individuals and small groups to make single or multi-day residential stays on the farm possible.

Let’s connect and share in the beauty of mother earth.
